The design is for high-rise residential buildings with the future 20-30 years as the background. The concept is based on the structural form of the traditional Chinese toy "luban lock" as the skeleton, with easily disassembled boards. The intention is to create a Shared rental unit to solve the negative factors of future housing price growth, increasing social competition pressure and job instability. In addition, a new relationship between sharing and privacy is discussed in the space setting.
Taking China as an example, with the acceleration of urbanization, more and more people are pouring into big cities, the density of floating population in big cities is increasing, and the carrying capacity of urban land has been severely tested. Taking Shanghai as an example, the average annual floating population in recent years has reached 10,000,000 (43% of the total population). How to solve the rapid growth of urban floating population has become a thorny problem, which also gives architects new challenges in architectural design.
In order to make the structure and function unified, the assembled structure unit has been developed to adapt to the sustainable development of the building. The three-dimensional cross structure skeleton units are connected to each other to form the overall skeleton of the building. The material of the unit is made of wood and steel. The traditional mortise-tenon connection method and the method of inserting metal bar connection are adopted to connect the unit, which is beneficial to earthquake resistance. Components of prefabricated units in factories are assembled on site to realize the industrialization of construction.
Through the study of "Siheyuan" -- a unique living mode in China, we try to think about a question, is our current living form really optimal? What we extract from the quadrangle courtyard is a kind of "sharing" element. Several families live together and share a courtyard. Everyone who lives in one piece goes to the toilet in the alley. Unexpectedly, people living in the quadrangle had a harmonious relationship and formed a good communication mode. At the same time, in the process of industrialization, we accepted westernization all the time -- every family lived in a so-called house, and some neighbors didn't even know each other at all. We tried to rely on the framework has been designed, implanted into the consciousness of "courtyard", in a different family of faulting and for communication between the compound. Create a concept of vertical communities.
